Just say no

  1. I'd prefer this with the correct (dictionary) spellings, though! :-)

"Just Say No" was a positive message. You wouldn't "get away" with it today - too "preachy". But it had a positive impact on my own life and may have "made the difference" for me. I know that some of the cast were doing drugs themselves, but that is real life. The campaign was still essentially a good thing, and helped a lot of people. I did try inhaling aerosols. I did later have a period when I was involved in binge drinking, but I have never voluntarily, knowingly taken hard drugs, and "Just Say No" - and the whole Zammo/Grange Hill storyline - was part of the reason for that. I will always be grateful for the inspiration - the positive influence.

    Peace. xxx
